After a series of main breaks in the Jordan Road area late last year, East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) made some changes to the timeline and scope of pipeline work planned in Oakland. On December 10, 2020 and April 28, 2021, it presented the preliminary plan to replace pipelines in the Redwood Heights neighborhood. This work will improve water service, reduce water loss, and prevent pipeline breaks in the service area. The work will begin on September 5, 2023.
In this meeting, the EBMUD staff will review the Pipeline Rebuild program, provide details on the timeline and scope of the work on Jordan Road and Rettig Avenue, and answer any questions you may have.
