Music in the Park logo

Please join us for the first mini-concert of our summer series "Music in the Park" at Redwood Heights Park on Friday, June 17, 2022. It will feature Jay Luck & Honey Gold Jasmine and is brought to you by the Jazzy Comedy Show.

The Jazzy Comedy Show brings two soulful Bay Area artists to serenade the audience with sweet lullabies. Rising stars in the R&B universe, they will literally make your heart flutter and your soul love again!

Jay Luck's current song "Hot 1"  currently sits in the top two hundred on the Global Charts for R&B music. John "Jay Luck" Luckey III was born to sing and write music! He started signing in the church with his mother and grandmother at the age of four. At fifteen, he began signing with "YMS"  (Young Men with Soul), a group made up of his best friends from school and church. In YMS, Jay Luck and his bandmates focused on building their confidence and developing their often five-part harmony that made the ladies swoon.

By the time he was 21, he was a solo artist writing for himself and others. He has recorded songs with The Jacka, Lee Majors, E-40, San Quinn, Big Rich, Rappin4-Tay, Clyde Carson, Messy Marv, Ryda J. Clyde, Berner, Yukmouth, Killa Kease, and many more artists. His collaboration list continues to grow, expanding his skills and fueling his ambition to make it in the music industry!

Honey Gold Jasmine is a singer-songwriter, visual artist, ARTivist, music therapist, actress, event coordinator, model, and Mills College alumnae from Vallejo, CA, known for her eclectic vibe and innovative sound that combines experimental elements of hip-hop, R&B, and jazz. She describes her musical expression as a gift "from my mind, body, and soul to yours."

This will be a safe, outdoor, social-distancing community event.
