Plant Share: Swap Plants and Grow Our Community

The great news is that we are out of the drought; the better news is that our yards are blooming! Maybe too much! But before you compost the overgrowth, save any replantables for the annual Redwood Heights Plant Share. Bring a plant, take a plant, or both.

The Plant Share is a community event where people come together to exchange or give away plants, cuttings, or seeds. It’s a great way to connect with other plant enthusiasts and expand your collection without spending money. Take a look at the photos below to see the variety of plants contributed in the past.

We will provide AND invite all sorts of succulents, cacti, rhizomes, agave, fruits and vegetables (plants and/or harvested), snake plants, echium, yucca, etc.

All Oakland neighbors are welcome, and volunteers are invited to sign up below. Bring your extras to share and/or a box to bring home new plants!
