Neighborhood Council
The Neighborhood Council (also known as the Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council, or NCPC) is a group of neighbors in a police beat who gather regularly to discuss local matters related to crime and safety and seek to implement solutions.
Community Safety
Communities of Oakland Respond to Emergencies (CORE) is an emergency preparedness and response training program of the Oakland Fire Department. It provides emergency preparedness training for individuals, neighborhood groups, and community‐based organizations in Oakland. We are fortunate to have a dedicated group of residents on a mission to train local residents.
