Redwood Heights Association supports several ongoing projects in our community. Learn more below.
Redwood Heights Park
Redwood Heights Park is located at the intersection of Redwood Road and Aliso Avenue in Oakland. Like other recreation centers and park in Oakland, it serves as the hub of community activity, including youth classes, after-school care, adult classes, RHA community meetings, movies, music, and more.
Today, in partnership with Oakland Parks, Recreation & Youth Development the association advocates for and initiate improvements to the park.
39th Avenue Garden
The 39th Avenue Garden (also known as the Black Lives Matter Garden is an Adopt-A-Spot initiative located at the intersection of 39th Avenue and Victor Avenue in Oakland.
Neighbors have maintained this garden for 20 years, but after EBMUD shut down the water source it has been even more challenging. This initiative to keep the garden going is an issue of maintaining neighborhood security, as well as preserving a beautiful community asset.
