Board Members Recognized for Creating the Butterfly Garden
We are thrilled to share some exciting news – our dedicated board members, Mary Pryor and Mary Gregory, have received well-deserved recognition from the City for their outstanding efforts in bringing the Butterfly Garden to life at Redwood Heights Park. This weekend, their hard work was recognized by District 4 Councilmember Janani Ramachandran.
Butterfly Garden and Other Projects
The Butterfly Garden at Redwood Heights Park was created during our 2023 Earth Day event to support butterflies losing their habitats. Congratulations to Mary Pryor and Mary Gregory for leading this transformative project and earning well-deserved recognition!
They plan to continue their work on the garden and expand beautification efforts along the fire road up to the Young Ave entrance. Ideas include adding more native plants, and another board member is working on plans to add a skate ramp to the park.
